Paralyzed with fear, you keep your eyelids firmly shut. After a while, you begin to feel a gentle breeze, which arouses your curiosity. Mustering whatever courage can be found, you boldly open your eyes, revealing that you stand alone in a small boat surrounded by an endless ocean. Baffled, you look for any signs of land or people, but none appear forthcoming.

Dejected, you slump down, and, glancing over the side of the boat, notice a large dark figure below you. It appears to be at a far distance below, so you struggle to determine its exact shape, but it is roughly circular and appears to sport multiple flailing appendages. As the dark figure grows larger and larger, you realize, to your horror, that it is heading in your direction. Soon, more features begin to emerge – a large maw, a surface draped in scales, tentacles sporting sharp suckers, and two large cold eyes. The creature breaches, and, destroying the boat, sends you hurtling into the ocean. The coldness of the water sends a shock through your system, before darkness envelops you forever.
