You run into the forest, followed closely by your fellow prisoners, becoming more and more dispersed the farther you run. Exhausted from your ordeal, you nonetheless draw whatever reserve energy remains to make your escape with utmost haste. Followed closely behind by the cries of recaptured prisoners and the malevolent shouts of your pursuers, the sounds become more distant the farther you travel, and soon you find yourself alone, surrounded only by the sounds of the night. Your body screams in pain, demanding rest, so you find a small hallow, surrounded by vegetation and underneath a large tree, to retire for the evening. Curling up into a ball for warmth, your mind is finally afforded a few moments to reflect on the absurdity of all that has transpired this evening, before you slip peacefully into unconsciousness.
