Noticing that your assigned guards are more concerned with playing a game of chance than monitoring their spoils, you begin slicing off the rope shackles that bind you and your fellow prisoners. This step completed, you turn your attention to the wood kennel itself, and reason that your best bet at freedom is to slice through the ropes attaching one of the poles, and then extract it from the ground. Cutting through the ropes, you and a few others begin to lift the pole out of the ground, causing the roof to subtlety lift up. A few others assist in the process by digging at the soft dirt around the pole with their hands, and soon you manage to remove the pole from the lip of the hole below, and create an opening just wide enough for each of you to squeeze through one by one.
Exiting the wood kennel, one of the guards, glancing in your general direction, notices what is transpiring, and grabs his spear and yells out an alert. Looking to your fellow prisoners, some hurriedly suggest they should run into the nearby forest, while others say they should stand and fight. What do you do?
