Offering no resistance, the humanoid beasts, having located the key to your cell and unlocked the door, bind your hands with rope, then connect all of the prisoners together by attaching a single rope through each of their bonds. Leading you outside, the rhythmic beating of drums grow louder and louder, and the war band, pleased with their trophies from the ransacked town, take you to a nearby forest.
You walk for several hours, then make camp for the evening. You are all placed inside a makeshift kennel made of wood poles planted to the ground, tied together with rope, and capped with a flat roof made of intersecting wooden planks, which is loosely tied to the poles below. As you all lay there, exhausted and in poor spirits, one of your fellow prisoners reveals that she managed to conceal a small blade from the captors. She suggests it should be used to try to escape from the kennel. What do you do?
