The ominous looking fellow shoots you a knowing smirk, and, stuffing the tome inside his satchel, finishes his drink. He then departs the tavern, offering you a pat on the shoulder as he leaves.

Confused, you shrug off the encounter and order another drink. As the evening wears on, the patron seated to your left begins engaging you in a discussion on a local politics. He asks whether you think local senator Amicus Habitius is squandering public funds by renovating the senate house. He thinks the old building was perfectly fine, and that the money should instead be given to the chamber of commerce for the purposes of encouraging the growth of local businesses. What do you say in response?

  1. “Sounds sensible, perhaps you should send him a sternly worded letter expressing your dissatisfaction?”
  2. “Rubbish, the senate has already allocated a sizeable amount of funds to encourage economic growth, and the senate building is in dire need of renovations. The roof gets leaky when it rains, and it’s always drafty for Oberon’s sake! Are they just suppose to go “woops shut it down shut it down!” when it rains, how foolish!”
