As you begin to push the door, it swings open of its own volition. A thin layer of mist obscures your vision of what lays beyond, but you nonetheless enter courageously. Crossing the threshold, you find yourself in a narrow cavern, the floor littered with bones caked in dust. Alarmed, you attempt to return whence you came, but find that the door you entered no longer exists. You look around, and see various words like “traitor” and “I am a fool I am a fool I am a fool” haphazardly scrawled across the cavern walls.
Exploring the cavern, you find three holes in the ceiling that are just big enough for you to enter. Looking at the wall beneath them, you find that someone has carved a word under each: “petram” under the first, “charta” the second, and “cisorium” the third. There is enough debris around to stack that you can build a makeshift ladder to the holes, and from there you think you might be able to climb further by bracing your back against one of the walls, and inching your way up by extending your feet to reach the other end. There does not appear to be any other way out of the cave. What do you do?
